About the role
Tarleton State University seeks a Professional Assistant/Associate Professor for its Department of Mathematics. This 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track position contributes to teaching, research, and service within a vibrant academic community in Stephenville, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate mathematics courses on‑site or through approved instructional modalities.
- Advising and mentoring students.
- Engage in scholarly research and scholarly activities.
- Participate in departmental and university service.
- Serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Required profile
- Ability to teach at various campus locations or via approved instructional modalities.
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM (or as teaching requirements dictate).
- Eligibility to work on‑site at the main campus in Stephenville, Texas.
