Product Manager, Agent Development – Public Sector

About the role

As a Product Manager for Agent Development in the public sector, you will lead the creation of enterprise‑grade AI agents that help government institutions serve citizens in high‑stakes, mission‑critical interactions. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and public‑sector customers to translate complex program requirements into trustworthy, secure, and accessible AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineers and public‑sector customers to design, build, and ship AI agents that meet security, accessibility, and reliability standards.
• Conduct ground‑up discovery with federal and state agencies to identify high‑impact use cases and prioritize product opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to public‑sector leaders, gathering requirements, presenting demos, and navigating technical and operational challenges.
• Define product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics, coordinating across engineering, design, research, security, and operations from concept to launch.
• Influence the core platform roadmap by surfacing unmet needs, prototyping new tools, and collaborating with research and product teams.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of experience developing highly technical products, including senior‑level product management.
• Passion for public‑sector work and experience collaborating directly with government customers.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Track record of driving ambiguous, cross‑functional initiatives from discovery through measurable impact.
