Pricing & Credit Model Associate – Hybrid

About the role

The Pricing & Credit Model Associate will develop and maintain pricing and risk‑based models that support auto‑loan pricing strategies at Santander. This hybrid position blends strategic business problem solving with hands‑on quantitative analysis, working closely with credit risk, finance, data science, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated empirical models, including credit scoring and pricing algorithms.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze trends, uncover risks, and identify opportunities for portfolio management and originations.
• Design pricing frameworks that balance yield, risk, volume, customer behavior, collateral trends, and market data.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve underwriting strategy, portfolio performance, and credit policies.
• Partner with IT and internal teams to define data requirements and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality data for analytic projects.
• Summarize analytic findings into executive‑level documents to support senior‑management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative background with the ability to take a hands‑on approach to data analysis.
