PLM Data Migration Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a PLM Data Migration Architect to join its Engineering unit in Indianapolis. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure PLM solutions, leveraging a data‑first approach and advanced technologies to accelerate product development.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technical framework development, and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Identify and evaluate market technologies and tools, performing comparative analyses to select optimal solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, uphold quality standards, and contribute to build and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment, and support phases.
• Analyze system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create and maintain architectural artifacts and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyze, design, and develop scalable and secure architectures.
• Proven experience assessing multiple technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Solid understanding of integration methodologies and enterprise‑level PLM environments.
