Plant Operator

About the role

The Plant Operator will join Heidelberg Materials’ North American operations, ensuring safe and efficient production at one of our cement and building‑materials facilities. Working on‑site, you will operate plant systems, monitor material flow, and support the team in maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plant systems and mobile equipment to support safe, efficient production.
• Monitor material flow, equipment performance, and quality standards throughout the shift.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly.
• Identify and report operating issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operational procedures while collaborating with the site team.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate industrial or processing equipment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, read operating data, and communicate clearly.
• Problem‑solving approach to adjusting processes and resolving issues.
• Dependable work habits and flexibility to meet production demands.
