Physical Therapist – TOSH Inpatient

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the TOSH Inpatient team. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients, supporting recovery and functional independence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence‑based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Document all patient interactions, progress notes, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge planning.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work the designated day shift.
