About the role
Perry Homes is seeking a Phase II Construction Manager to oversee the final stages of home building in Richmond, TX. You will apply Perry Homes’ construction procedures from sheetrock taping and finishing through to home completion, while delivering warranty service in line with company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate independent contractors across multiple job sites.
- Order, monitor, and verify the quantity and quality of construction materials.
- Ensure all work meets Perry Homes’ quality standards and local building codes.
- Manage time, direct overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Relevant management or leadership experience in construction.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with contractors and homeowners.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and personal truck that complies with company policies.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fundamental knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
