About the role
We are seeking a pharmacist to lead the administration of our Prescription Drug Benefit program in New York. The role supports our Medicare and Medicaid managed care plans, ensuring high‑quality, affordable healthcare for our members.
Key responsibilities
- Administer the Prescription Drug Benefit program.
- Oversee contracts and PBM relationships.
- Manage formulary development and pharmacy benefit design.
- Interpret benefit policies and guidelines.
- Profile cost and utilization data for the plan.
- Maintain provider relations.
- Implement programmatic initiatives.
Required profile
- Current unrestricted NY State pharmacist license (B.S. required; Doctorate in Pharmacy considered).
- 3‑5 years experience in a managed‑care environment with prescription drug benefit administration.
- Knowledge of pharmacy cost and utilization profiling, coding, and PBM contract implementation and oversight.
- Strong communication and informatics abilities (desired).
