About the role
The Patient Services Associate supports adult inpatient care within the PRI unit at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This day‑shift, regular position focuses on delivering high‑quality service to patients and their families while ensuring smooth clinical operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with registration, admission, and discharge processes.
- Coordinate communication between patients, families, and clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in hospital systems.
- Provide information about hospital services, policies, and procedures.
- Support the nursing staff with non‑clinical tasks to enhance patient flow.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare education preferred.
- Ability to work day shift in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
