About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified medical professional to join its peri‑operative services team as a Patient Care Contractor. This role focuses on providing intraoperative neuro‑monitoring to support surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.
Key responsibilities
- Perform real‑time intraoperative neuro‑monitoring during surgical cases.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peri‑operative staff to interpret monitoring data.
- Document monitoring findings and communicate critical changes promptly.
- Maintain compliance with institutional safety and quality standards.
Required profile
- Medical Doctor (MD) with documented experience in intraoperative neuro‑monitoring services.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or holds an approved exemption.
