Part‑Time House Manager & Family Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable part‑time House Manager/Family Assistant to keep our busy Fort Worth household running smoothly. You will work 16–20 hours per week, handling daily organization, errands, and light meal support while the family focuses on work and school.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing household organization systems, including art supplies, guest room, garage, and seasonal clothing swaps.
• Perform daily light resets between cleaner visits: dishes, counters, surfaces, and indoor plant care.
• Manage laundry finishing tasks (folding, hanging, ironing uniforms and professional clothing) and keep the laundry area tidy.
• Assist with light meal prep, grocery shopping, pantry monitoring, and kitchen cleanup.
• Handle errands such as Amazon returns, dry‑cleaning drop‑off/pick‑up, gift shopping, and mail/package processing.
• Provide occasional backup school pickups and light presence for the pre‑teen daughter.
• Coordinate with house cleaners, landscapers, and seasonal service providers; obtain quotes for repairs.
• Execute occasional deep‑clean projects (fridge, oven, garage organization, seasonal décor) and support administrative tasks like calendar management and travel planning.

Required profile

• Highly organized, self‑directed professional who takes initiative and follows through without reminders.
• Comfortable working independently in a home environment, communicating efficiently via text.
• Authorized to work in the United States, reliable personal transportation, and able to maintain a smoke‑free, fragrance‑free environment.
• Preferably CPR and First Aid certified; up‑to‑date on recommended vaccinations.
