Part-time & Limited-Term Faculty – Educational Leadership

About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified individuals for a pool of part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Educational Leadership for the 2025‑2026 academic year. Appointments are made on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis and will be assigned a rank that matches the candidate’s credentials. The positions support the department’s goal of preparing future educational leaders and are open to candidates at any rank, from instructor to professor, depending on qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Educational Leadership.
• Develop and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide academic advising to students enrolled in the program.
• Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities.
• Maintain office hours and be available for student consultation.
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities as required.

Required profile

• Appropriate academic credentials (e.g., Master’s or Doctorate) in Educational Leadership or a closely related field.
• Eligibility to work in the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
• Ability to teach on a semester‑by‑semester, part‑time schedule.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
