Part-Time House Manager for Busy Family

About the role

We are a growing family in Austin seeking a proactive, organized House Manager to keep our home running smoothly. This part‑time role supports two young boys, an upcoming newborn, and busy parents who run their own businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Family support: prep backpacks, manage school/daycare calendars, provide occasional childcare and date‑night coverage.
• Meal support: prepare four weekly dinners, pack school lunches, prep snack containers, and handle grocery ordering for a gluten‑free diet.
• Household organization & maintenance: build systems, perform daily resets, manage seasonal rotations, and oversee routine home maintenance tasks.
• Inventory & errands: restock pantry, handle returns, schedule appointments, and assist with travel logistics.
• Laundry & linens: wash, fold, rotate linens and towels, occasional ironing.
• Vehicle upkeep: schedule maintenance, mobile detailing, track registration and insurance renewals.
• Deep cleaning & special projects: occasional deep cleans, garage organization, appliance maintenance.
• Pet care: schedule grooming appointments and maintain pet supply inventory.

• Warm, professional, discreet and low‑drama.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and authorization to work in the U.S.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
