Part-Time Food Services Utility Worker

About the role

This part‑time position supports the campus food services by ensuring kitchen and dining areas remain clean and sanitary. The role is temporary (fixed‑term) and is ideal for students or staff seeking flexible hours within the University of Arkansas System.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen work areas, dining spaces, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, cups, pots and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher.
• Sweep, mop, and perform routine floor cleaning.
• Assist with waste disposal and keep work tables organized.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food‑service environments.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks in a kitchen setting.
• Availability to work part‑time hours as scheduled.
