About the role

The lab assistant provides assistance to the instructor and supports students in a classroom or lab setting, and may also help other departments when no class is in session.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the instructor and provide student support in classroom or lab settings.
  • Assist other departments when no class is being conducted.

Required profile

  • Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with students.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required; graduate of a related program preferred.
  • Work experience related to the course is preferred.
