Occupational Therapist – Kids First (Little Rock)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Kids First program in Little Rock. This position focuses on delivering pediatric occupational therapy services, supporting children’s functional development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children in the Kids First clinic.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence‑based practices.
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to families and the care team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and contribute to program development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Arkansas.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
