Nutrition Service Assistant (Part‑time, 3 hrs/day)

About the role

The Nutrition Service Assistant provides essential support to the food service program at Stella Brockman Annex. Working three hours each weekday morning, you will help ensure students receive safe, nutritious meals in a school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals following district guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards and adhere to food safety protocols.
• Support the nutrition staff in inventory tracking and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, including TB clearance and fingerprinting requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S. Department of Education accredited).
• Resume and one signed professional letter of recommendation.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment TB screening and fingerprinting.
• Preference given to internal candidates.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices (certification desirable).
• Experience in a school nutrition program or food service setting (preferred).
