Medical Imaging Field Engineer – Palm Springs

About the role

Join a global leader in healthcare technology as a Medical Imaging Field Engineer serving the Palm Springs, CA area. You will work on‑site, providing installation, maintenance and repair of multi‑modality Siemens imaging equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens AX/XP imaging systems at customer sites.
• Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance for the territory, including revenue generation, expense control and inventory management.
• Maintain company assets such as a vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools and spare parts.
• Develop and sustain professional relationships with customers and internal peers.
• Complete required administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; technical associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of experience servicing diagnostic medical imaging equipment or as a biomedical field service engineer.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with medical imaging equipment service and preventative maintenance.
• Proficiency with service test equipment and general electrical principles (power supplies, grounding).
• Familiarity with Siemens network applications such as eVO, mButler, NAM Customer Service portal, and standard tools like MS Office and Concur.
