Manager, Quantitative Risk Management

About the role

SentiLink is looking for a senior leader to own the end‑to‑end model governance function that underpins its fraud‑detection models. You will manage a growing team of data scientists and governance professionals, set strategy, and ensure models meet rigorous regulatory standards while supporting rapid product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ model risk and governance experts, scaling the function as the business expands.
• Define and execute the governance strategy, including performance monitoring, drift detection, fair‑lending assessments, documentation, validation, model inventory, and change management.
• Serve as the primary liaison for governance matters across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Manage customer‑facing relationships, conduct validation calls, and help banks and fintechs meet their model‑risk requirements.
• Prepare validation reports, governance documentation, and performance summaries for internal leadership, auditors, and regulators.

Required profile

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, or quantitative risk, with experience building and scaling governance teams.
• 4+ years of people‑management experience leading model‑risk or governance groups.
• Deep knowledge of SR 11‑7, SR 26‑2, OCC guidance, fair‑lending regulations, and hands‑on experience validating ML/statistical models in a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to translate technical findings for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; legal authorization to work in the US.
