Maintenance Technician – Town Center at Lakeside Village

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports residents and prepares vacant units for new move‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents promptly.
• Inspect work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure quality, scope, and specification compliance.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant handling.
• EPA Type 2 certification for refrigerant handling.
• EPA Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on larger properties).
