Maintenance Technician – The Olivian

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team at The Olivian, a Greystar‑managed community in Seattle. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to residents and ensuring the property’s facilities, grounds, and common areas remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete repairs, including appliance troubleshooting.
• Perform “make‑ready” preparations for new move‑ins, ensuring apartments meet Greystar standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of exterior buildings, parking areas, and amenities.
• Assist with vendor coordination and manage routine maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building equipment.

Required profile

• Proficient in safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
