Maintenance Technician – The Chadwick

About the role

The Chadwick community is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all necessary repairs and cleaning.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of multi‑family property maintenance experience.
• Availability to work weekends (Sunday‑Thursday schedule).
• Eligibility for a 25 % housing discount.
