Maintenance Technician – Stride West

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Stride West property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, obtain supplies, perform repairs, and verify completed work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in residential properties.
