Maintenance Technician – Rise Koreatown

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Rise Koreatown community in Los Angeles. The role ensures that the building’s physical assets, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and completing all required repairs before new move‑ins.
• Manage inventory by retrieving supplies and tools, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, removing trash, and performing minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday with on‑call duties as needed.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, codes, and company policies.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
