Maintenance Technician – Mosaic South End

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Mosaic South End in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures that the building’s physical components, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and schedule work efficiently.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a rotating on‑call schedule.
