Maintenance Technician – La Vue at Emerald Pointe

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the La Vue community at Emerald Pointe. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and safety across the property.
