Maintenance Technician – Icon Riverwalk

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Icon Riverwalk community in Plainsboro, New Jersey. The role focuses on keeping the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests by diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to reduce future breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and securing necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate work order records and report completed tasks to management.

Required profile

• Technical and mechanical aptitude for building systems.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and regulatory codes.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure properties meet cleanliness and appearance standards.
