Maintenance Technician – H2O Townhomes

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the H2O Townhomes community in West Valley City. You will ensure that apartments, common areas, and amenities are safe, functional, and well‑maintained, delivering the high standards expected by residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of work.
• Willingness to work onsite and handle a variety of maintenance tasks across residential properties.
