Maintenance Technician – Cape Cod Property

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s Cape Cod property in Hyannis meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Maintain common areas and grounds by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and minor painting tasks.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify quality and compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and respond to on‑call situations.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 and Type 2 or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
