Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will manage, lead, and coordinate the activities of your maintenance team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and uphold safety and operating standards. You will coach, train and develop team members while overseeing daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance and repair work. You will also drive continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and maintenance of equipment in the most efficient manner.
• Schedule maintenance projects in collaboration with production and engineering departments.
• Ensure all maintenance personnel are properly trained in safety procedures and Total Quality Maintenance.
• Provide guidance, coaching, employee scheduling, evaluation and development for team members.
• Confer with the Maintenance Manager on establishing and receiving quality‑assurance standards.
• Recommend strategies for efficient operation of the maintenance department, including project implementation and budget modifications.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment.
• 1+ years of people‑leadership experience.
