Maintenance Manager – High‑Rise Building Services Director

About the role

Sentral is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead high‑rise building services across its San Diego community. The role reports to the General Manager and combines hands‑on maintenance, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure resident satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute weekly maintenance schedules, allocate work, and supervise the Building Services team.
• Inspect sites, identify problems, and coordinate repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Maintain inventory, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Provide 24/7 support, oversee cleaning activities, and manage vendor relationships.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of high‑rise building services experience and at least 2 years in a maintenance manager or director role.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities with a customer‑service focus.
• Proven budgeting and performance‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and standard email tools.
• Hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
