Library Student Worker (Extra Help)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a part‑time Library Student Worker to provide extra help across library services. This on‑site position supports the Ottenheimer Library with basic circulation and shelving tasks, offering flexible hours for students.

Key responsibilities

• Check library materials in and out for patrons
• Retrieve, shelve, and organize books, journals, audiovisual items, and microforms
• Maintain orderly shelves by straightening and shifting items as needed
• Assist patrons with locating materials and basic inquiries
• Perform other routine library duties as assigned, including occasional night or weekend shifts

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
