Leasing Professional – Maxwell Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional for the Maxwell community will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through full‑cycle leasing activities. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a smooth move‑in experience and high satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, preparing lease documents, and coordinating move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor local market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to maximize occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track unit availability, record traffic, manage prospect and resident data, and capture demographic information.
• Provide ongoing resident support to ensure satisfaction and encourage lease renewals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or property management with a focus on achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market dynamics and ability to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to guide prospects through the leasing process and maintain resident relationships.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation, credit screening, and move‑in inspections.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends as needed.
