About the role
The Lead Student Service Specialist supports current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, in navigating Workday to find and apply for open positions. This role is part of the Student Financial Services department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock.
Key responsibilities
- Guide students and graduate assistants through the Workday login process via MyApps.Microsoft.com.
- Assist applicants in using the “Find Jobs for Students” feature to locate and apply for open positions.
- Help users manage draft applications and ensure submissions are completed before the 12:01 a.m. CT closing deadline.
- Provide information on the application process and answer related questions.
Required profile
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Current affiliation with the University of Arkansas System (student employee or graduate assistant) is implied.
