Landscape Design Coordinator

About the role

HDR is seeking a Landscape Design Coordinator to support its Architecture practice. You will work under a registered Landscape Architect, contributing to the creation of site designs that enhance community well‑being worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing site design projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits, analyses, and support grading and storm‑drainage studies.
• Produce hand‑drawn and computer‑rendered graphics to illustrate design ideas.
• Provide AutoCAD drafting support during concept, schematic, design development, and construction document phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address design challenges.
• Perform additional duties as needed to advance project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned, inclusive culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop (a plus).
• Ability to prepare site plans and understand grading and drainage principles.
