Key Account Manager – SpaceX

About the role

Join 3M as a Manager, Key Account for SpaceX and lead the development of strategic relationships with one of the world’s most innovative aerospace companies. You will work remotely while collaborating with global 3M teams to grow sales, increase market share, and elevate partnerships to executive levels.

Key responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates engagement with SpaceX Commercial, Security and Defense units.
• Develops relationships at all levels of SpaceX, including sourcing, engineering, program management and C‑suite.
• Identifies and leads mutually beneficial projects across relevant 3M business units.
• Works with assigned accounts to achieve agreed‑upon objectives and grow market share.
• Creates and executes strategic plans to increase 3M’s share of SpaceX business.
• Maps opportunities to strengthen the 3M‑SpaceX partnership and implements best practices across locations.
• Utilises a company vehicle as required, subject to driver’s‑history review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified prior to start).
• Minimum seven years of experience selling and managing large, complex end‑user accounts in private, public, government or military environments.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Advanced degree in business or a technical field (preferred).
• Experience in space, military or aerospace markets.
• At least ten years of strategic key‑account management experience.
• Proven success representing technical products and materials.
• Demonstrated ability to work with SpaceX or other space OEMs and negotiate agreements.
• Strong collaboration, networking and executive‑influence skills.

What we offer

• Compensation range $164,612 – $201,193 per year, including base pay and variable incentive.
