Junior Project Manager – Design (Retail Development)

About the role

SKIMS is seeking a detail‑driven Junior Project Manager focused on Design to join its New Store Development team at the Los Angeles headquarters. You will act as the connective tissue between design architects, cross‑functional partners, and vendors, ensuring every retail environment reflects the SKIMS aesthetic from concept to opening.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of store layouts, spatial planning, and design concepts for flagship stores, pop‑ups, activations, and office spaces.
• Translate creative direction into renderings, presentations, and build‑ready drawing packages.
• Maintain and evolve SKIMS retail design standards and design libraries across markets.
• Review drawings, fixtures, and material selections for brand alignment.
• Coordinate inventory of in‑store graphics and collaborate with marketing for installations.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for design conformance and support QA/QC throughout project phases.
• Prepare materials for weekly global design reviews and onboard design architects to SKIMS standards.
• Assist with concepting and rollout of pop‑ups, special activations, franchise, and multi‑brand projects.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a strong visual eye and genuine design sensibility.
• Experience in design documentation and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel.
• Organizational discipline and attention to detail, understanding that execution differentiates good spaces from great ones.
