Junior Identity Security Analyst – Metrics & Databricks

About the role

Dragonfli Group is seeking a Junior Identity Security Analyst to join a federal agency’s identity security team. The role focuses on generating actionable metrics, extracting and analyzing data on the Databricks platform, and applying AI/ML techniques to detect fraudulent activity. You will work closely with senior engineers and have direct exposure to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and maintain “metrics‑that‑matter” across enterprise identity platforms.
• Extract, transform, and analyze identity and security data using Databricks.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support executive decision‑making.
• Apply AI/ML models to identify fraudulent behavior and improve authentication processes.
• Support data‑quality initiatives and document processes for continuity.
• Assist with technical implementations of Okta, Ping Identity, and related IAM tools.
• Prepare and deliver executive briefings that translate technical findings into business insights.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• 0–4 years of experience in identity security metrics, IAM analytics, or related fields.
• Experience working on federal contracts is preferred.
• Ability to work within the continental United States.
