Junior Designer – Architecture & Visualization

About the role

Jonathan Caplan Design, an award‑winning Manhattan studio, is looking for a Junior Designer to support its architecture and visualization projects. The role focuses on creating high‑quality 3D visualizations for galleries, museums, and high‑end residential interiors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and architectural visualizations for client presentations.
• Produce photorealistic renderings, material studies, and lighting setups.
• Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and senior visualizers in a fast‑paced studio environment.
• Prepare presentation boards and digital assets for design proposals.

Required profile

• Strong eye for materials, lighting, proportion, and detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet tight deadlines.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Rhino.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
• Solid 3D modeling and architectural visualization capabilities.
