Junior Corporate M&A Associate (Atlanta)

About the role

Our corporate practice is seeking a junior associate to join the Atlanta office, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions. The position provides hands‑on experience in due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and coordinating closings alongside an experienced corporate team.

Key responsibilities

• Support M&A transactions, including diligence, drafting, and closings.
• Assist with general corporate matters, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.
• Advise on entity formation, governance, and related corporate law issues.
• Collaborate with team members to manage fast‑paced workloads and client deliverables.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of M&A and corporate experience at a law firm.
• Strong academic record with solid research and writing abilities.
• Admitted to practice in Georgia, eligible to waive in, or willing to sit for the Georgia Bar.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
