Italian High School Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Italian to join our high school faculty starting September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Italian language instruction to secondary students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Italian language lessons in accordance with state curriculum standards.
• Create instructional materials and activities that promote active learning and cultural understanding.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to support interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Valid teaching certification for secondary education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Italian, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Demonstrated experience teaching Italian at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of Italian language, literature, and culture.
