About the role
The Manager, IT Enterprise Architecture will lead the development and governance of enterprise‑wide architecture solutions, partnering closely with business and IT leaders. This role ensures that technology initiatives align with strategic goals while driving modernization and risk mitigation.
Key responsibilities
- Support enterprise architecture engagement with business and IT stakeholders, working closely with the Director of EA for new initiatives.
- Conduct current‑state and future‑state architectural assessments, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain enterprise and solution architectures, including reference architectures, standards and guiding principles.
- Partner with application, infrastructure, security, data and integration teams to design cross‑domain, scalable and secure solutions.
- Participate in Architecture Review Board processes to ensure consistency, risk mitigation and governance compliance.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms and vendors, providing architecture‑based recommendations for investment decisions.
- Mentor architects and analysts, fostering rigor, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Align architectural priorities with strategic initiatives and delivery roadmaps, ensuring security, compliance and operational sustainability.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive IT experience with significant exposure to enterprise or solution architecture.
- Minimum 2 years leading enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Experience supervising on‑shore/off‑shore teams and consultants.
- Prior experience in large, global or asset‑intensive organizations, preferably in energy, offshore or industrial services.
