About the role
Join 3M as an IT Enterprise Applications Technical Project Manager and work with innovative colleagues worldwide. You will lead initiatives that reduce application vulnerabilities, address technical debt, and improve the stability, security, and maintainability of enterprise application environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical projects focused on vulnerability remediation, application modernization, and platform risk mitigation.
- Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, and vendor teams to define remediation plans and track progress.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reports for multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Coordinate remediation activities across application portfolios, including patching, upgrades, configuration changes, decommissioning, and technology refreshes.
- Facilitate prioritization of technical debt based on business impact, security risk, compliance needs, and resource availability.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
- Minimum six years of experience managing IT projects in an enterprise environment (private, public, government, or military).
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, application lifecycle management, infrastructure dependencies, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience with vulnerability remediation, technical debt reduction, and application modernization projects.
Required skills
- Project‑management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project.
- Vulnerability‑management tools: Qualys, Wiz.
- Enterprise application domains: ERP, HR, finance, manufacturing, supply‑chain systems.
- Cloud platforms, identity and access management, middleware, databases, integrations, and application‑hosting environments.
- Certifications (preferred): PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, ITIL, cybersecurity‑related.
