Interior Designer / Architect – Hybrid (Miami, FL)

About the role

OTJ is seeking an experienced Interior Designer or Architect to join its Miami team in a hybrid capacity. You will contribute to high‑impact interior projects, ensuring design integrity across systems and solutions while collaborating with real‑estate partners and end users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage interior design projects from concept through construction documents.
• Interface with clients, partners, and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop preliminary space plans, site surveys, and code‑compliant designs.
• Assist senior designers with finish and fixture selections.
• Contribute to project schedules and coordinate multiple projects in various phases.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years focused on workplace interiors.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research, problem‑solve, and ensure code compliance.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Revit.
• Intermediate proficiency with rendering software (Enscape, Lumion, or similar).
• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Intermediate proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Knowledge of furnishings, finishes, and building codes.
