Inside Sales Representative – Veterinary Channel

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative will join Purina’s Veterinary Sales Team, focusing on retaining and growing revenue within the veterinary channel. You will own an assigned geography in Hawaii, building strong relationships with veterinary professionals through consultative and transactional phone selling.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Pro Plan Veterinary Diet® and Pro Plan Veterinary Supplements® product lines.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers to secure recommendations of Purina products.
• Design and execute strategic business plans for the assigned geography to increase market share.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to meet or exceed annual growth targets for specialty dog and cat diets.
• Create targeted sales and marketing programs that drive volume and achieve quantitative and qualitative goals.
• Contact existing customers, open new accounts, and identify incremental business opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service as the main point of contact and educate veterinary professionals on the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• Minimum 6 months of working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
