Inbound Operations Manager

About the role

The Inbound Operations Manager leads the day‑to‑day inbound activities at Kendra Scott’s Austin Distribution Center. Reporting to the Senior Director of Distribution Operations, this hands‑on leader ensures accurate and efficient receipt, put‑away, and reverse‑logistics processes while supporting the company’s fast‑growing omnichannel network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of inbound specialists, including five direct reports, to meet receiving and put‑away performance targets.
• Oversee reverse‑logistics operations for e‑commerce, wholesale, and retail returns, providing visibility on trends, costs, and recovery opportunities.
• Drive operational metrics such as dock‑to‑stock timing, inventory accuracy, SLA attainment, productivity, and throughput.
• Monitor inbound workload forecasts and align labor resources to ensure operational readiness.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Transportation, Planning, and Merchandising to manage delivery schedules, receiving windows, and purchase‑order prioritization.
• Build a collaborative team culture that promotes continuous improvement, ownership, and professional growth.
• Plan labor staffing, including seasonal hiring, workforce optimization, and peak‑readiness strategies.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of implementing scalable process improvements.
