Household Manager (with Childcare & Meal Prep Support)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Household Manager to become the operational heartbeat of our home in Old Greenwich, CT. The role blends daily household logistics, meal planning, and attentive childcare for two young boys, allowing the family to focus on what matters most.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prep, and organize make‑ahead meals, snacks, and school lunches; manage weekly grocery lists and pickups.
• Provide attentive childcare, including school pick‑ups, activity transportation, and occasional evening date‑night coverage.
• Maintain household organization systems, daily resets, and seasonal swaps of clothing, decor, and bedding.
• Handle laundry, linens, ironing, and keep the laundry area tidy.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; manage subscriptions and run errands such as dry cleaning and mail.
• Perform occasional deep cleans (refrigerator, oven, baseboards) and oversee special projects like pantry resets and toy organization.
• Manage the family vehicle – fueling, cleaning, and organization.
• Support the family calendar, coordinate appointments, and track receipts and expenses using a dedicated household credit card.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional household management experience or equivalent transferable experience.
• Prior childcare experience with knowledge of age‑appropriate activities, routines, and safety.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to keep the family vehicle clean and fueled.
• Fully vaccinated per AAP caregiver recommendations (MMR, Tdap, annual flu).
