Household Manager & Family Assistant (with Childcare & Organizational Support)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Household Manager & Family Assistant to support our busy family in Lutz, FL. The role includes morning and afternoon shifts, occasional evenings and weekends, with a schedule set roughly two months in advance. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide light supervision and backup childcare, including morning routines, snack preparation, homework help, and occasional school drop‑offs.
• Perform daily home resets: dishes, surface cleaning, light vacuuming, and entryway/mudroom upkeep.
• Prepare children’s lunches, snack items, and assist with grocery shopping for kids’ meals.
• Manage children’s calendar, school events, appointments, and run kid‑related errands.
• Handle children’s laundry, rotate linens, and keep laundry areas organized.
• Maintain household inventory, restock pantry and supplies, and coordinate vendor services.
• Oversee cleaners and contractors, schedule repairs, and support seasonal clothing swaps and donations.

Required profile

• Proactive, notices tasks before being asked and completes them without fanfare.
• Warm, patient, and comfortable around children of all ages.
• Highly organized, reliable, and adaptable to shifting schedules.
• Clear communicator who brings a calm, upbeat energy to the home.
• Committed to maintaining a smoke‑free environment and holds valid CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain it.
