Household Manager & Family Assistant – San Diego

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Household Manager & Family Assistant to support families in San Diego. The role combines home organization, light housekeeping, meal support and occasional childcare, helping families maintain a calm and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up and organization of common areas.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries, pantry staples and supplies.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries and home‑maintenance providers.
• Handle errands such as post office, pharmacy pickups and online orders.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals and assist with weekly meal planning.
• Shop for groceries, organize fridge and pantry, and pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children when needed.
• Support family scheduling, school forms, appointments and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support, including school or activity pickups and occasional date‑night care.

• Warm, respectful demeanor that builds trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience placing orders on Amazon or similar platforms.
• Comfort using shared family apps for coordination.
