Household Manager & Family Assistant – Philadelphia

About the role

We are recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers & Family Assistants to support families across Philadelphia. The role focuses on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support, with occasional childcare duties as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries and supplies, and coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and maintenance providers.
• Plan, prep, and assist with simple, healthy family meals; handle grocery shopping and pantry organization.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and support family scheduling, school forms, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Optional childcare support such as school or activity pickups, occasional date‑night assistance, and engaging children in crafts or outdoor play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, proactive, and able to anticipate family needs.
• Calm under pressure, comfortable with changing priorities, and able to create a trustworthy environment for adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated as requested by the family.

Required skills

• Comfortable using Google Calendar for family scheduling.
• Experience placing and tracking Amazon orders.
• Familiarity with shared family apps for communication and task management.
